GreenW Building System

GreenW Building System constructive technology has been globally developed for more than 30 years and can be summed up as a single structural element that forms the basis of a constructive system of reinforced concrete, with its varied and well-known resistance performance, yet very light weight with a high level of thermal insulation.

During the past 30 years, under different trademarks, the constructive system based on panels of “EPS + steel + concrete” has been used as a “streamlined construction system” in countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland and Germany in the European Union, USA, Argentina, Chile and Mexico in America, and in some countries in Africa and Asia and the Caribbean.

There is an abundant history of tests and certificates of technical conformity for its use in all the countries where this technology has been used.



construction system description

Pre industrialized system construction composed of vertical structural elements (walls, retaining walls, partitions, facades), and horizontal and inclined (slabs, stairs and roofs), consisting of two sheets of micro-reinforced concrete solidly connected to each other by electrically welded galvanized steel connectors, forming a spatial structure.

Panels, are a composite of reinforced concrete with core of EPS (Expanded polystyrene).



material components

» Preformed Plate of expanded polystyrene with a basic density 15 kg/m3. Armor mesh of galvanized steel of 2.5mm diameter forming grid of 130 x 60 mm. It can carry additional reinforcement rebars according to structural calculation.

» The meshes are connected by galvanized steel bars of 2,5 mm diameter, in variable number from 40 to 120 ud /m2.

» 35 mm micro concrete sprayed on each face, specially formulated by Baupanel Maferman with nominal strength of 16 or 25 MPa, depending on the use.



Main Uses

Structure of buildings, on the basis of load-bearing walls and slabs that allows you to build:

- Façades
- Singular elements of façade
- Waterproofing retaining walls
- Cavity walls
- Water containers and pools
- Rehabilitation of historic buildings

With the panels of different thicknesses, depending on the calculation, will be made up the walls of support and slabs.
The system has in Spain four Technical Conformity Documents, given by the Eduardo Torroja Institute, that authorizes the construction of:

- Six story building
- Slabs 6,00 m span
- Retaining walls with buttresses
- It may exceed these limits with specific calculation.
